Gill designs and hand makes sterling silver jewellery in her home in East Devon. She is mostly self taught after attending a few evening classes and occasionally attending workshops and online lessons to learn new techniques and skills.
Gill's designs are inspired by the movement of the sea and the textures and colours she see's on the surface, reflected by the different hammered effects on the silver and enhanced by the pearls and semi precious stones. The colours chosen are representative of orange and purple Autumn sunsets, summery blues and greens and wintery stormy greys. Most of her designs are bold yet uncomplicated, most importantly they are easy to wear, made up from an assortment of circles and other geometric shapes.
